The primary way to get ammo in The Outer Worlds merely is looting it. You can find ammo on the bodies of fallen enemies, and in containers and crates, you will find strewn throughout the game world.

The good news is that bullets are a pretty common find when you go looting. Even better, bullets have no weight, so you can carry as many as you like. You don’t have to worry about carrying capacity when it comes to ammo. You can keep stockpiling them until you need them.
