Here’s where you can capture Sneasel in Pokémon Sword and Shield

If you’re looking for Sneasel, you have several options available to you to find this Pokémon in Pokémon Sword and Shield. An early location to find them is in the Wild Area, beyond the first location you traverse through to get to Motostoke.

To find a Sneasel, you’re going to want to walk over to the Motostoke Riverbank in the Wild Area. This area is a great place to find them, but they’re going to be north of 25; many of them spawn in this location at level 27. Because they’re slightly stronger, you are going to need the second Gym badge to capture them, so make sure you have that first before heading here.

You have an excellent chance of running into a Sneasel at this location. There are other locations later on you can find Sneasel, such as the Giant’s Cap and on Route 10, but if you’re looking to capture one immediately, the Motostoke Riverbank is an early area.

There’s nothing special about capturing this Pokémon, damage it a few times, give it a status effect, and throw the Poké Ball of your choice at your target. Capture it, and add it to your team or send it to the box.

If you want to evolve Sneasel into Weavile, you need to have your Sneasel hold Razor Claw, and then level it up when it’s Night Time.
