Here are all of the requirements to complete the Spooktober Challenge.

Encountering the ghost is the easiest objective to finish. The quickest way to do this is to purchase a haunted house and wait a few years. You should find one pretty quick.

The next task is to carve a jack-o-lantern in the game. To do this you need to choose to spend time with anyone in your relationships tree. You’ll randomly see the pop-up that the two of your carved jack-o-lanterns together, and that will count for the challenge. It’s random, so you need to spend time with characters over and over again. This activity, supposedly, only appears when your character is a child and under 18, so make sure to do this one immediately.

The next task is to give a child candy. You can do this by having a kid. Click on them in your relationship and choose to give them candy. They need to be under 18 for this to count.

Another challenge you need to do is go around in costume. Your character has to have something for them to wear one, which you can do by robbing a bank, and that does count. It’s not ideally in the spirit of Halloween, but it works.

The final is mourning a dead relative. All you need to do for this one is to wait until someone close to you passes away.
