Mona’s Astrolabos quest guide – Genshin Impact

During the Astrolabos quest in Genshin Impact, you will need to help out Mona. You will access this story quest using a Story Quest Key after you hit Adventure Rank 38. You can earn keys by completing eight daily commissions, but you can only hold a maximum of three keys at one time.

It is a fairly straightforward quest, but we have broken it down step by step for you below.

Step 1

Teleport to the fast travel point just to the north of Liyue Harbor to meet Mona for the first time. A cutscene will play where Mona explains what she is doing.

Step 2

You will need to be at the Small Inn near Mt. Tianheng and speak with Mr. Zhu. He will be near the house.

Step 3

You will need to use some of the bait you previously made for Diluc to lure in some slimes, so head to the glowing point and then place the bait. Take out all the slimes, then return to Mr. Zhu with the lost ring.

Step 4

Now it’s time to head to the Wangshuu Inn and eat a meal with Mona. Sit down to begin another cutscene where you will learn more about her and her story.

Step 5

You will need to cook some Golden Crab, so find Huai’an, who will be near the front of the Inn to get the recipe.

• 5 Flour
• 4 Grab
• 2 Salt

When you have cooked it, give the meal to Mona to begin another cutscene.

Step 6

Now it’s time to head back to the outskirts of Mondstadt and take on some Bandits. After this fight, you will have another cutscene to watch.

Step 7

For this step, you need to take out some Dendro slimes. If you have a Pyro character in your party, set fire to the area around them to make them hop up to the surface so you can fight them.

Step 8

Speak with Katheryne at the Adventure’s Guild and as about Mona’s quandry, then head for the door with the Hydro Mark on it and examine it to finish up the quest.
