How to do all Animation Week 2020 tasks and rewards in Pokémon Go – Timed Research

Celebrate Pokémon Journeys: The Series with a new timed research.

A special event will be available for trainers in Pokémon Go called the celebrating Animation Week in 2020. It starts on November 6 at 8 AM and goes until November 12 at 10 PM in your local time. During that event, an exclusive timed research will alongside it. You have until the end of the event to complete all of the tasks associated with the task, and in doing, receiving all of the rewards.

All Animation Week 2020 tasks and rewards

These are all of the tasks and rewards for the Animation Week 2020 timed research. They will arrive on your today view research quests starting on November 6 at 8 AM in your timezone.

Task 1

  • Catch 5 Pokémon – 3 Razz berries
  • Transfer a Pokémon – 3 Super potions
  • Make 3 nice throws – 5 Poké Balls

Rewards: Pikachu (world cap) encounter, 500 Stardust, and 500 XP

Task 2

  • Battle another trainer – 3 Hyper potions
  • Battle in a raid – 3 Revives
  • Win a raid – 1 incense

Rewards: 1 Sinnoh Stone, 500 Stardust, and 500 XP

Task 3

  • Defeat 3 Team Rocket grunts – 20 Venusaur Mega Energy
  • Catch 2 Pokémon with weather boost – 20 Venusaur Mega Energy
  • Catch 3 Grass-type Pokémon – 20 Venusaur Mega energy

Rewards: Ivysaur encounter, 500 Stardust, and 500 XP

Task 4

  • Give you buddy 3 treats – 3 Razz Berries
  • Earn a heart with your buddy – 5 Pinap Berries
  • Earn a candy walking with your buddy – 5 Nanab Berries

Rewards: Snorlax encounter, 500 Stardust, and 500 XP

Task 5

  • Catch 3 Bug-type Pokémon – 3 Pinap Berries
  • Use 3 Berries to help catch Pokémon – 5 Great Balls
  • Make an excellent throw – Venonat Encounter

Rewards: Scyther encounter, 500 Stardust, and 500 XP

Task 6

  • Battle in a Gym 2 times – 1 Fast TM
  • Win a Gym Battle – Hariyama Encounter
  • Battle another trainer – 3 Super Potions

Rewards: Charged TM, 500 Stardust, and 500 XP

Task 7

  • Hatch an egg – Tentacool encounter
  • Spin 3 PokéStops or Gyms – Croagunk encounter
  • Spin 3 PokéStops or Gyms – Piplup encounter

Rewards: Psyduck encounter, 500 Stardust, and 500 XP

Task 8

  • Make 3 Nice Throws in a row – Cyndaquil encounter
  • Catch 1 Flying-type Pokémon – Hoothoot encounter
  • Purify 1 Shadow Pokémon – Lucky egg

Rewards: Fearow encounter, 500 Stardust, and 500 XP

Task 9

  • Evolve 3 Pokémon – Silver Pinap berry
