Every Tuesday comes a new Destiny 2 weekly reset, which covers many activities in the game. This means that it’s a perfect day to plan our week and decide what we will be doing to grab those weapons and armor pieces we want.
Beyond Light, Witch Queen, and Lightfall have added a few weekly activities to the forefront, like raids and dungeons. Every now and then, Iron Banner will replace the Trials of Osiris during the week, so check back frequently for updates on when the next events are rotated into the lineup. During this time, I love to grind for missing loot, so if there’s a legendary you’re missing, now’s the perfect time to go for it. Who knows, maybe there’s also an exotic Engram or two for you.

Weekly Reset Details – November 14, 2023
Last Iron Banner for Season 22
The Destiny 2 Iron Banner event continues in this weekly reset. This week will also be our final chance to get the full armor set and weapons associated with Season 22. As always, we can participate in the event by talking to Lord Saladin in the Event Square at the Tower. You can find him as soon as you land, straight ahead of you; there’s a lot of decorations surrounding him, so you definitely can’t miss him.
Nightfall: The Lightblade
The Lightblade Nightfall Strike is back in the rotation for today’s Destiny 2 Weekly Reset. Of course, this Nightfall Strike can get quite busy with the number of enemy spawns, so be sure to bring your best crowd-clearing setup along for the ride. I like to use the Forbearance whenever possible, and this is a perfect place to blow up some Hive champions while sitting back and watching them float around. Be sure to ensemble your best fireteam.
Weekly Playlists: Rift & Momentum Control
The playlist for this weekly reset will focus on some of Destiny 2’s best modes: Rift and Momentum Control. For those unaware, Rift is a PvP mode that has each team bring a Rift to their base. A spark spawns in a central location on the map, and we must pick up the spark and take it to the enemy team’s base to destroy their rift. Momentum Control is similar to your standard ‘Control’ game but with more momentum factored into the equation. This means that everything moves faster as you accumulate more points and zone control.
Raid: King’s Fall
The King’s Fall raid is back and is sending off this season of Destiny 2 for this weekly reset. If you’re unaware, this raid has us assaulting Oryx’s Dreadnaught, which debuted in the Taken King expansion. This raid features tombs, regicide, and even Oryx, the Taken King himself, leading the charge. Prepare to spend a lot of time-solving tough puzzles.
Dungeon: Duality
Duality, one of my favorite dungeons in Destiny 2, returns for the weekly reset. What makes it one of my favorites is the setting taking place in Emperor Calus’ mind, which is as unsettling as it sounds. The dungeon is filled with parallel universes and will fully test your mental and mechanical skills. After playing and enjoying this dungeon for the first time, I was glad that Lightfall did more with Calus’ character arc.
Mission: Presage
Our final mission for this season’s weekly reset, Presage, is returning from the past Destiny 2 season, Season of the Chosen. In the past, we were rewarded with Dead Man’s Tale, an Exotic Scout Rifle, but now that weapon is part of another weekly rotation. This was a challenging mission for me due to the crazy amount of puzzles and challenging encounters with several Abominations. Make sure you have the right upgrades when attempting this mission.
