After completing the final quest in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, you may have thought that was all the story had to offer. You’d be incorrect to think so — there is, in fact, a Secret Ending to Age of Calamity. But how do you access this alternate ending to this chapter of the Zelda story?

How to unlock the Age of Calamity Secret Ending

Let’s go over what you have to do to unlock this Secret Ending, but please keep in mind that this involves late-game content, so there are spoilers ahead.

First off, you must have completed the entirety of the main campaign of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which includes defeating Calamity Ganon. Once you have done that, additional quests on the map will be unlocked. These quests are Material and Challenge-based, and the purpose of these is to unlock Terrako, the small Guardian that follows Link throughout the main campaign.

Once you have completed all of those quests, you will unlock not only Terrako, but also a secret cutscene ending involving the little Guardian (as well the other main characters) will play. That’s all you’ll have to do to unlock the Secret Ending, but be mindful that these quests will take a long time, as the Material quests require you to acquire parts to repair Terrako. Additionally, the Challenge quests have you getting your characters up to a certain level.
