The Most Anticipated Games of 2019

Ori And The Will of The Wisps

It is fueled by the success of the last Ori game. Fans have been biting their nails for the game’s next release. Ori And The Will of The Wisps is scheduled to release in 2019, with no month given. This Xbox exclusive has been announced at E3 along with some gameplay. The game is very pleasing to watch let alone play. The mechanics are tough to master and fluid too; we want to see what the new release brings to us.

The Last Of Us Part 2

This game is just emotional for many. It was first announced at PlayStation Experience on December 2016. Naughty Dog has been teasing the game for its fans for four years. The story is set to take off five years after The Last Of Us (the original) left off. Many people have been waiting for this sequel, and now the time has come. Fans are eager to see what happens next to the story that will continue from the previous game.

Anthem

This game might be the only good game that EA can ever release. The game’s story and general feel have led many gamers into loving the game. The cinematic trailer that was released describes the game’s narrative. We hope EA would minimalize micro-transactions for Anthem since that would be an addition to a perfect game recipe. The game is set to release on Feb. 22nd, 2019, and fans can not wait to play this new release.

Biomutant

First announced on PAX West 2017, Biomutant has led many into being hyped for the open world action game. The game looks fantastic leading us to think it might be photorealistic. The game also shines in its combat mechanics, not to mention the cinematics in the trailer.

Bayonetta 3

This game got Nintendo Switch’s fans excited for this release. The Nintendo Switch does not have enough titles like Bayonetta. Bayonetta will include a refresh to the Nintendo Library if games. Many fans are eager for a change from the general style of Nintendo Games. Nintendo Games are usually more cartoony and user-friendly, while this game is a refreshing change to the style.

Devil May Cry 5

Like the many previous version of Devil May Cry, this one is just as good. Fans all over the world have been waiting for Devil May Cry 5 since it was announced at The Game Awards in December 2017. The cinematic trailer released by Capcom was terrific, and it added even more to the hype.

Even with all the hype, another reason the game has been awaited so much is the amount of theories the game is surrounded by; one dominant theory is that Vergil, one of the main characters might come back in this series which left theorist and fans of Vergil anxious for the next release. The game is speculated to be just as good if not better than Devil May Cry 4.

Hytale

Like many, this game is thought to be just another mock-up of Minecraft. A mock-up of Minecraft it is not. This game is being developed by Hytale Studios, which originates to a Minecraft server, Hypixel. From what we have seen from teasers and the trailer (which has over thirty million views on YouTube) the game is insane, it offers many features, and the soundtracks sound amazing to let alone the map they revealed, and also the UI they teased not too long ago. This game is set to release in 2019 with no scheduled month. Pricing has not been announced either.

Doom Eternal

Doom Eternal is Bethesda’s newest game set to launch on 2019. It was first announced as Doom’s 2016 sequel at Electronic Entertainment Expo 2018. This game will release on the Xbox One, PS4, PC and the Switch. Let’s see how you can cope with The Hell Forces invading the earth. Doom’s last game sold millions which goes to show the success of the series and how much it is awaited. Hopefully, this one won’t fry our rigs!

Kingdom Hearts 3

This sequel has garnered much hype throughout the years. We can not describe the number of characters this game has from such a small window, nor can we fathom how much well-made the narrative is. People are also eager to find out the characters that will be featured in this game since Kingdom Hearts is a series where many aspects are in one setting.

Kingdom Hearts III is releasing twelve years after the release of Kingdom Hearts II. We hope that the game lives up to all the hype and expectations of the fans when it releases on January 25, 2019.

Mortal Kombat XI

For the people who loved the previous game, Mortal Kombat XI is thought to be no different like its gory predecessors. This game was announced at The Game Awards 2018 scheduled to release on April 23, 2019. The game is currently being developed by NetherRealm Studios and will be published by the Warner Bros. There is speculation that the new release will continue from where the story left off from the last game.

The game is believed to be just as good as its previous versions. The game is scheduled to release “sometime early in 2019” as Bethesda mentioned, and fans of earlier versions can not wait, which is understandable.

Cyberpunk 2077

Possibly one of the most hyped games in this list, the game has been teased many times since its announcement way back in 2012 (May)! Fans have been itching for even a release date, but rumors have been telling us that there is a considerable possibility that the game will release sometime this year. Not to mention its trailer that had over twelve million views in the first week.

Halo Infinite

Dying Light 2

Developed and published by Techland, Dying Light 2 might be as good or better than the previous version on the franchise. The game was first announced at E3 2018.
