How to get a Pikachu that knows sing in Pokémon Sword and Shield

Pikachu is here to celebrate.

Everyone in Pokémon wants to celebrate the franchise’s 25th anniversary, even Pikachu. In Pokémon Sword and Shield, you can earn a Pikachu that knows how to sing. This attack is a move that does not damage the opponent, but if hit successfully, it puts a Pokémon to sleep, giving you a few turns to attack them without worry. Normally, Pikachu cannot learn this move. However, there’s a special way to do this for those who want to add this vocal Pikachu to their collection in the game.

All you have to do is redeem a particular code in the Mystery Gift menu. You can access the Mystery Gift menu at any time. You need to make sure your launch your Pokémon Sword and Shield game to access it. From there, go to the Mystery Gift menu in the primary screen, select the ‘Get a Mystery Gift’ option, and then select to receive your gift using a code.

Here is the code you need to end to receive your singing Pikachu: P25MUS1C.

If you have room in your immediate roster, the Pikachu will join your team. If you don’t have room, the Pikachu will be in on your Pokémon will appear in one of your Pokémon boxes, and you’ll have to add them to your party.

Giving Pikachu the ability to sing is okay, but it’s not the best Pokémon to teach this move. Luckily, you can always through it in a box on your Pokémon Home account if you don’t know what you want to do with it.
