Things can be a little confusing at the start of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town. One of the things that players will want to figure out quickly is what they are supposed to do with Town Medals.
These medals are rewarded for hitting certain achievement and title milestones, and they don’t seem to server any major purpose other than taking up room in your inventory. While you have no reason to hold onto the medals, you do have a reason to sell them. All the medals are worth gold, and this is a vital resource at the start of the game.
- Bronze Medals – 100 Gold
- Silver Medals – 500 Gold
- Gold Medals – 1000 Gold
By putting the medals into the shipping box, you can earn plenty of early game gold to spend on things like seeds which will, in turn, generate more gold. If you feel like you are doing okay in the early game, you can choose to just store them in a container for later in the game, when big costs come into play.
It can be a great way to save up for an expansion to the house or farm, or an easy way to save for the Blue Feather when you want to get married. In our opinion, the best use of them is definitely in the early game when you will likely be struggling for money. A strong start to the game with some crop purchases can really be a difference maker.
