If you’re having trouble attempting to connect to the game, you want to jump on over to the Final Fantasy XIV website and check out the maintenance section. It lists all the maintenance cycles that have happened and what is happening right now. This is the best spot to check out if you know your internet connection is fine and you can play other online games. For the 6.2 update, we can expect the servers to come back online around 3 AM PT. It’s roughly an 8-hour downtime until the servers will return.
On the same page, you’ll be able to see the status of any of the worlds in Final Fantasy XIV. It will be under the ‘status’ tab. Some of the worlds in Final Fantasy XIV are often inaccessible, forcing a small portion of the game’s players to log in.
