Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone Season 4 – All new weapons, maps, Zombies content

Another season, another Operator with a mask.

Season 4 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will further advance the franchise’s story, depicting the next chapter after Adler’s rescue. The Summer Game Fest presentation contained the first look of the season’s content, which will include maps, weapons, and plenty of new ground for Zombies players to cover. This content update will center around a new Operator named Jackal, who appears to be yet another baddie wearing a mask. Season 4 of Call of Duty launches with the Ground Fall event on June 17.

All content below will launch with Season 4, unless otherwise stated.

  • Collateral (12v12 matches, Collateral Strike for 6v6 matches)
  • Amsterdam (for 2v2 Gunfight)
  • Hijacked from Black Ops 2 (for 6v6 matches)
  • Rush (mid-season, for 6v6 matches)

Hijacked is from Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, so fans of the series have the classic three-lane boat map to look forward to.

In addition to the above maps, Season 4 will also include a new multi-team game mode called Sat Link, and two returning modes in party game One in the Chamber, which is a free-for-all where each player starts with one bullet, and classic Capture the Flag as a mid-season addition.

New Warzone content in Season 4

The Summer Game Fest trailer teases that Warzone, the battle royale game of the Call of Duty ecosystem, will “break orbit.” The footage had the first look at the new Dirt Bike vehicle, along with one of many Satellite Crash Sites in Verdansk 1984 that act as new points of interest that players can investigate and secure. Speaking of points of interest, Nakatomi Plaza will remain, albeit under the name Downtown Tower.

Red Doors from Black Ops Cold War will also appear throughout Verdansk — while their purpose is unknown at pre-release, it is very possible that they will act as teleportation and fast travel points. New game modes called Verdansk Resurgence Mini and an objective-based mode called Payload will drop with Season 4, with Payload being a mid-season addition. Finally, The new Gulag will resemble the Hijacked map from Black Ops Cold War.

The pre-release trailer for Season 4 also teased new maps for the Zombies mode of Black Ops Cold War; a few bits of gameplay show off a zoo, a clock tower, and what look like to be dragons and other giant mystical creatures stomping around in a new Outbreak map. This is the stomping ground for “Operation Excision,” which will be your Outbreak mission at the beginning of the season.

Meanwhile, Mauer de Toten will take place near the Berlin Wall in a wartorn East Berlin. The very end of the Summer Game Fest trailer gives a peek at an underground subway.

Weapons in Call of Duty are usable across Black Ops Cold War multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The following will be unlockable through the Season 4 Battle Pass at launch, unless otherwise stated.

Additionally, the Baseball Bat will finally make it to Warzone at the launch of Season 4, and the high-caliber Hand Cannon will be a new Scorestreak reward.
