Filled with an eclectic cast of colorful characters, you’ll amass a collection of heroes that will follow you on different missions to battle various enemies. MLA features more than 100 different characters that each have a selection of alternate outfits and special attack animations for ultimate skills. Once you’ve made progress in the game’s campaign, you’ll discover the backstory of each character and experience their origin stories firsthand.

You’ll control your characters in MLA through an RPG battle system not dissimilar to classic turn-based JRPGs. You’ll assemble a team based on character classes to give yourself checks and balances against various enemy types. The five different classes include Tank, Fighter, Mage, Marksman, and Support characters. As you get stronger, a skip battle option will let you immediately finish low-level battles and a speed-up option can make basic fights go quicker.

To summon heroes in-game, you’ll need to use diamonds. You’ll be able to acquire diamonds by finishing different quests, sending your heroes on bounty hunts, or participating in limited-time events. You can also purchase diamonds directly from the in-game marketplace or on the Google Play and Apple App stores. Once you have some, you can add new teammates to help you level up your other heroes through battles, daily quests, or idle time.

When not battling monsters, MLA offers a range of varied dungeons for your heroes to explore. In these caverns, you’ll find new loot and items that can be beneficial to you. As you traverse different dungeons, some special events may trigger that spawn in a large number of foes to defeat. Surmounting these challenges will gain you extra loot, as well as some extra experience.
