Although Nihilego will be showing up for a brief time, the chances of finding a shiny version won’t be available. A shiny version for Nihilego will not be available for this Pokémon’s debut appearance during Pokémon Go Fest 2022. When you attempt to catch this Pokémon, the unique coloration of a shiny version will not be available. With it being Nihilego’s debut appearance, it makes sense. Niantic typically holds the shiny version back for the second time a Pokémon appears in the mobile game.

We strongly encourage players to go out of their way to catch Nihilego. It will be making its debut appearance during Pokémon Go Fest 2022.
