Metal Gear Survive Patch 1.02 Opens Servers For All

Metal Gear Survive is the first MGS game releasing after the departure of Hideo Kojima (the creator of the Metal Gear Series franchise.) from Konami in late 2015. It features a co-op multiplayer mode in which player can be joined by up to 3 players (or play solo – in solo, the player will be joined by 3 AI team-mates). The storyline takes place in the time period between Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. The single-player campaign length is said to the 15-20 hours long.

According to Konami Europe Boss Tomotada Tashiro, Metal Gear Survive is a “fresh take on the series’ famed stealth elements”, with a “unique co-op setting that is designed for a truly engrossing multiplayer experience.”

Players will have an option to customize their character, make use of several weapons and equipment, make their own equipment based on their play-style.
