Kingdom Hearts III Director Tetsuya Nomura has confirmed that the game is going to feature more “unrevealed worlds” and one of them is going to be the favorite of the co-director.
Square Enix has recently shared some information about Kingdom Hearts III, although it still hasn’t attached a release date to it apart from the quite vague 2018 we’ve been sticking to for around two years now.
Interestingly, at D23 Expo in Japan game director, Tetsuya Nomura offered a hint at more announcements still coming along the way, with several surprises on their way for what matters the worlds we’ll be playing in.
“There are still more unrevealed worlds,” said Nomura. On top of that, he revealed that “There is one world that is distinct from the others,” something we don’t really have a clue about what it could possibly be.
Tai Yasue, game co-director, added that “this Kingdom Hearts is a bit different,” in comparison with the previous games in the franchise. He fundamentally hinted at the size of each world, which could also be considered an explanation about why it is taking so much time to actually release the title.
“One world is equivalent to one [previous] game, and the things to do for each world are vastly different. My favorite world has not yet been announced so please look forward to it too.”
Kingdom Hearts III is coming to PS4 and Xbox One this year.
