All the report you heard about Spyro The Dragon Treasure Trilogy was Trolling and FAKE, and the so-called “Insider” Reddit user B4ADASS has admitted this in a thread on Reddit.

The leaker behind Spyro the Dragon: Treasure Trilogy has finally admitted the supposed reveal was completely FAKE. Also, he said that he got credited for a Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII leak that ultimately was just a coincidence or at least a well-studied move based on a previous hint from CoD specialist website Charlie Intel.

Spyro The Dragon Treasure Trilogy Was Trolling - Insider

B4ADASS admitted it all in an open letter called “An Apology” posted on Reddit just before he was banned from the forums. In there, he states that the “Treasure Trilogy” denomination was invented as well.

“Just wanted to come out and say it’s been fun but the trolling is over. Sorry for messing with everyone’s expectations and whatnot. I’m a huge fan of the series and I want it out remade for the PS4 just as much as everyone else,” he says.

“The treasure trilogy was just some random title I found someone suggested here and apparently people ate that up for some reason. As far as credibility goes towards me “leaking” BO4 is all just blown out of proportion.”

That’s quite sad to hear that, even though this doesn’t necessarily mean the remastered trilogy doesn’t exist at all. In fact, it was first spotted by insider Laura Kate Dale and posted on Kotaku UK, who’s proved to be a reliable source in the past.
