According to a leaked cover art, No Man’s Sky is going to feature true multiplayer as soon as the new Xbox One version releases complete with the much anticipated and dubbed ‘revolutionary’ update NeXT.
While we don’t have any solid detail about whether this could be done or not on the currently existing game, the cover art which has slipped off in the last few hours shows indeed a number of four explorers on it, hinting at the possibility that a full-fledged co-op mode could be on its way.
There’s a chance that this happens since the update is being called “the biggest” ever released for No Man’s Sky, which also has received quite big and relevant updates, and that the multiplayer could help boost sales of the new console build.
Interestingly, according to sources, No Man’s Sky will be among the protagonists of the next episode of the Inside Xbox broadcast, which is apparently set to spin the beans about all the news we need to learn about the new version of the title.
