The behind closed door demo of Cyberpunk 2077 was so incredible that many doubts sparked among those who watched that it could be really aiming for the current-generation consoles.

Anyway, it seems CD Projekt RED is rather convinced that the game is going to be released for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and that it will look as amazing as it is now on a high spec PC.

Cyberpunk 2077 Dev Comments On PS4/Xbox One vs PC

“It’s still going to look as good as that,” level designer Max Pears told Metro in a recent interview. “This is the thing now, we’ve got a great team. So we’re gonna be trying our hardest to push the envelope. We’ve got the right people and the right minds to get this there for it.”

It’s worth noting that, back in the days, there were doubts even about The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and we know that, in the end, the game came to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One without any particular tech issue.

The fact that PS4 Pro and Xbox One X are around, too, could be giving some help in terms of the raw power that CD Projekt RED can take advantage of, without mentioning that the project could be cross-gen based on the fact it still lacks a release date.

Anyway, it looks brilliant just from the Xbox E3 2018 media briefing reveal trailer, and we hope to watch that gameplay demo soon to have a clearer idea of what to expect before launch.
