In the last few months and just before the E3 2018, we reported a lot of rumors about a Rocksteady game involving Superman and other DC superheroes set in the same Batman Arkham universe.
As you might have noticed, such game has never been announced, which kind of disappointed all the people who wait for more information about the next Rocksteady project and rightly anticipated a reveal at E3.
Anyway, this reveal won’t apparently be happening anytime soon, nor at the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con, as it was announced in a tweet by studio director Jamie Walker.
“Inb4 people start asking about whether @RocksteadyGames will be at SDCC this year: we’d love to be there but won’t be ready to talk about our next game for a while yet,” Walker told his followers.

While it’s clear that the Comic-Con would’ve represented a quite good occasion for Rocksteady to reveal a superhero-based game and stay out of the E3 chaos, considering how big and popular is the developer it would’ve been surprising to have them reveal their next project at a non-specifically gaming oriented event.
So, we might say that, despite still being a bit disappointing, this was something foreseeable. The last game by Rocksteady is appreciated, although too short, Batman: Arkham VR in 2016.
