Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg has shared a tweet where he claims, posting a photo from the store, that Xbox One S was the best selling video games item on Amazon during the Prime Day.
“Thanks to everyone who helped make Xbox One the #1 selling console for Amazon Prime Day,” said the Xbox marketing man from his Twitter account.
The console in question was the 1TB Xbox One S bundle with a copy of Rare Replay, the compilation that lets you play some of the most compelling titles from the British developer, at $229,99.
Talking about British, it is worth noting that, in response to Greenberg’s tweet, another Twitter user reported that Xbox One S was the most sold video games item in the United Kingdom version of Amazon, too, again during the Prime Day.
In this case, Xbox One S claimed both the #1 and the #2: the first with a Sea of Thieves bundle complete of vertical stand, Forza Horizon 3, Minecraft and the green Minecraft controller at the crazy price of £319,99; the second was a Minecraft bundle with the same games plus Sea of Thieves physical copy – you can check our single-player and multiplayer considerations here.
So, it turned out that Microsoft was able to offer the most compelling bundles at the best prices over two of the most important video games markets over there, and to be honest it didn’t come as a surprise to see them triumph on the Prime Day considering the quality of those bundles.
Did you grab an Xbox One S during the Prime Day, too?
