Rockstar Games and Sony has confirmed that the Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay trailer was captured from in-game footage on PlayStation 4 Pro in 4K resolution.
Just a few hours ago Rockstar Games posted a 6 Minutes of Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay trailer. It gave us a short (but good) glimpse at some of the gameplay mechanics: advance horse maneuvers, new wanted system and more. We will be doing a dedicated feature article soon on Things We Liked In Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay and discuss all these new features in detail. In this post, I would like to inform you about details that you might have missed out – Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay trailer was captured in-game on PS4 Pro running at 4K resolution.
This confirmation of it came via Rockstar and Sony. The official PlayStation Blog posted the new gameplay trailer with a text: “Captured Entirely From In-Game Footage on PlayStation 4 Pro, watch this introduction to Red Dead Redemption 2‘s gameplay in 4K”. This same line of text was used by Sony in the description section of the gameplay trailer’s YouTube version.
Also, while speaking to our friend at USGamer, Rockstar Games confirmed that indeed the new gameplay trailer of RDR 2 was captured in 4K on PS4 Pro. If you want to see the new trailer in UNTOUCHED 4K at 65MBPS then download it from this LINK (Gamersyde), size 3GB.
