In a recent interview at Gamescom 2018, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg has discussed the Xbox One and Windows 10 exclusive in the making at Playground Games, the Forza Horizon developer.
The exclusive title is rumored to be a new chapter in the Fable saga, apparently a reboot since franchise creator Lionhead Studios has been shut few years ago, and most probably it won’t release until next generation.
“While it’s a secret project and I understand that you and probably all gamers out there the thing they want to know most about, we just ask for a little bit of patience, but know that making sure our world-class team is working on a big, big exclusive game for our fans, is something they should be excited about,” Greenberg told DualShockers.
Anyway, he didn’t want to comment the possibility of this project being a Fable game, adding this when pinged on the matter.
“We know that the team is gonna do something that’s really special, and for us we wanna be thoughtful about when we reveal what that is, but they have a second team there, it’s extra capacity, and we think that when the time is right, and the team is ready, fans will be excited about what we have to share.”
The next appointment with Playground Games is Forza Horizon 4, releasing October 2, 2018 for PC Windows 10 and Xbox One.
