That’s not the case, anyway, as Microsoft has once again debunked any possible rumor and stated again that, no, Halo 5: Guardians is not releasing any time soon on PC Windows 10.
Yesterday, we’ve reported about the new cover for Halo 5: Guardians, which calls the game (at least in the European version) an Xbox One console exclusive.
That’s quite suspicious if you consider it’s the same wording used for Xbox One games which are also available on Windows 10, and this is why people have started to believe Guardians was about to drop on PC as well.
That’s not the case, anyway, as Microsoft has once again debunked any possible rumor and stated again that, no, Halo 5: Guardians is not releasing any time soon on PC Windows 10.
“As we’ve shared previously, we do not have plans to launch Halo 5: Guardians on Windows 10 PC,” a Microsoft rep told CNET, once again losing the opportunity to make the news official.
The history of Halo on PC is quite weird. Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2 have been ported over the platform ages ago, while Halo Online has not been released outside of Russia.
Halo Infinite is instead in the making for Xbox One and Windows 10, so we’ve at least something to look forward to in the future.
