With the launch of version 1.0, PUBG’s performances have had a negative spike on Xbox One X, and Bluehole and PUBG Corp. have finally reached the conclusion to have a little temporary downgrade while working on a definitive solution for the frame rate issues.

“We wanted to let our players know that we are aware of framerate issues on the Xbox One X, and that this is a top priority for us. We understand the frustration that this is causing and we will be deploying a hotfix on September 18 to implement some changes that will help with this issue,” said the developer in a note.
Interestingly, the studio is also working on the chance for players to switch between two graphics modes on Xbox One X: 1080p with 60 frames per second and 4K with 30fps.
“We are also working on a long-term solution for Xbox One X that we intend on implementing in the future that will cater to two different audiences: those who prefer better graphics and those who prefer better performance and don’t mind sacrificing some graphical quality,” said the team.
“We currently do not have many details to share, but will provide updates on this as soon as we’re able to.” So we don’t have a release date for this feature at the moment, but it doesn’t look like it’ll take ages.
Are you ok with the changes in the making at PUBG on Xbox One X?
