Red Dead Redemption 2 will have a Day One patch which will update the game to version 1.02, and size of it is going to be 3.3 GB. According to the leaked changelog: Red Dead Redemption 2 Patch 1.02 will include a range of across-the-board improvements and bug fixes for optimal performance.

One of the major reasons not many people raised a question mark on the leaked list was the user that posted it had a good track record of getting access to the retail copy of the AAA games early. This is not all, the user also mentioned that there will be a Day One Patch for Red Dead Redemption 2 and size of it is going to be 3 GB.

Today, Reddit user bongos_mongos shared the following image on Red Dead Redemption sub-reddit confirming everything we were told about the Red Dead Redemption 2’s Day One Patch. The day one patch will update the game to version 1.02 and the exact size of it is going to be 3.3GB.

In the comment section, bongos_mongos, shared the official changelog of Red Dead Redemption 2 Day One Patch (1.02). He got access to this information by decrypting/extracting information from the update file. This means, Rockstar Games didn’t go into specific details regarding the changes Patch 1.02 will bring to Red Dead Redemption 2.
