Breath of the Wild is the final game to be speedrun at AGDQ 2018 on Jan. 14, 2018.
Games Done Quick (GDQ) is a speedrunning event that only happens twice per year, Thousands of viewers watch their favorite speedrunners destroy some of their beloved games and, in turn, donate millions of dollars to charity. The runners come from all corners of the globe, and it’s easily the world’s biggest speedrunning event.

If the GDQ staff answer Sean Chiplock’s call, it wouldn’t be the first time that someone affiliated with a game has joined in on a speedrun at AGDQ. Some of the developers of beloved games such as Spelunky and Battleblock Theatre have joined in from across the globe on Skype calls in the past.
Legendary video game composer Grant Kirkhope, who has worked on the soundtrack for a bunch of games like Banjo-Kazooie and Mario and Rabbids Kingdom Battle, famously joined in during AGDQ 2015’s Banjo-Kazooie speedrun.
