Razer is adding a new microphone to its line of professional-grade broadcasting equipment.

The Razer Seiren Elite is a USB microphone that iterates on Razer’s current Seiren X microphone. There are no external mixers, converters, or amplifiers needed to get professional-sounding output, according to Razer. The single capsule design offers a built-in filter and limiter for what Razer calls a “richer, warmer vocal tone.”

“Most professional-grade microphones require additional recording equipment, like mixers and converters, that you need to get your sound onto your PC,” Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan said in a statement. “The Razer Seiren Elite solves that problem, letting broadcasters focus on their content and letting the Seiren Elite handle their audio.”

The $200 microphone is targeting YouTube and Twitch streamers and content creators as part of Razer’s broadcasting line of equipment. Alongside the two microphones, Razer also offers a streaming camera with a built-in ring light, called the Kiyo.

Razer’s new microphone goes on sale in January for $200—$100 more than the Seiren X.
