In the midst of Destiny 2’s Crimson Days event, Xur has returned once again to offer a selection of Exotic armors and a weapon. Here’s what he’s selling this week and if you should spend your Legendary Shards on them.
Where is Xur?
Xur is in the EDZ’s Winding Cove section, on top of a cliff and right underneath a massive crashed Fallen ship.
This week’s weapon is Merciless, one of the best Power weapons in the game for taking down bosses and named enemies. This fusion rifle’s perk, “Conserve Momentum,” lessens the charge time of the rifle with non-lethal hits, meaning that it will shoot rapid fire when used on an enemy with a lot of health. It costs 29 Legendary Shards.
The Hunter armor this week is Lucky Pants, and it’s great for handcannon users. These boots pair with handcannons because its main perk loads a round into the chamber with each precision hit. It’s on sale for 23 Legendary Shards.
For Titans, the armor is ACD/0 Feedback Fence, a returning armor from Destiny 1. These gauntlets build up explosive energy with melee kills, and that energy is released in a big explosion when you are struck by a melee attack. They are 23 Legendary Shards.
This week’s Warlock armor is Starfire Protocol, another Destiny 1 classic. This chest piece gives Fusion grenades an additional charge, and they also regenerate faster. Getting kills with Fusion grenades will grant you Rift energy. It costs 23 Legendary Shards.
Merciless is definitely a must-have, but the armors can be missed unless you’re dead set on collecting every piece in the game. Save up your Shards this week if you can.
