Today, the trailer that was being teased is out to view, and it’s the first glimpse we’ve seen of the upcoming game. In the teaser trailer, we see Lara exploring a rocky area with plenty of terrain to cover, bad guys with guns, and what looks like a series of Mayan pyramids and/or ruins. It’s unclear exactly where she is in the video, but one thing’s for sure: there’s probably a tomb to raid or two out there.
The teaser is only 23 seconds, but it’s just a small taste of what’s to come, with April 27 coming around the bend with a full reveal for the game. It’s planned for launch on Sep. 14, 2018, with opportunities for players to meet the developers and try the game early at a few different launch events.Â
If you’re looking to play through the conclusion to Lara Croft’s origin story, you’ll finally get to do so later this year on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.Â
