In preparation for tomorrow’s official Sea of Thieves launch, Microsoft has released a live-action trailer starring Sean Astin, who you might remember as Bob from Stranger Things or Samwise Gamgee from Lord of the Rings.

For this live-action trailer, Astin is the curator of the Museum of More Pirate, because he hasn’t been able to become a pirate himself due to asthma. That doesn’t make a ton of sense, since asthma is easily treated and the pirate life could still be lived with a little medication, but never mind.

Astin leads a group of pirate enthusiasts throughout the museum and shows off a variety of different exhibits, like the Kraken encased in a glass aquarium, reminding everyone that “we all have a legend to be told.”

Sea of Thieves is finally washing up on shore tomorrow, March 20 on Xbox One and Windows 10. If you don’t feel like taking the plunge and paying full price for Rare’s latest effort, you can play the game for free with a valid Xbox Game Pass subscription or buy a new Xbox One S, which bundles a digital copy of the game with the system.
