It’s finally time for you to open, manage, and subsequently close down your own Jurassic World dinosaur park because the dinosaurs have somehow escaped. We’ve finally got a release date for Frontier Developments’ forthcoming dinosaur park sim Jurassic World: Evolution.

The game will be released digitally on June 12 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. It’ll be coming to retail stores as a physical edition on July 3.

You’ll get to construct your own dinosaur theme park on the fictional island of Isla Nublar, as well as the fictional Las Cinco Muertes Archipelago surrounding it. You need to create five-star parks across every region in the game during a narrative where Jeff Goldblum guides you. Yes, that Jeff Goldblum. That’s obviously one of the bigger draws for the game, especially if you can’t get enough of his Jurassic Park movie appearances.

There will be over 30 different dinosaurs to interact with at launch, with players taking over three branches of park development, including science, security, and entertainment. There are other characters you’ll need to spend time with as well, who represent additional branches, all in a bid to get you to build up your park in the ways they see fit. If you’re a fan of sim games, this should be an interesting take on what’s currently out there, especially since it’s rife with AI-controlled dinosaurs.

Jurassic World: Evolution will be releasing in tandem with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, so you can fulfill any hankering you get to run your own dino park after watching the movie.
