Ready to journey back into the world of Dark Souls? If you’re planning on picking up Dark Souls Remastered when it launches this May (minus the Nintendo Switch version since it’s been delayed, of course) there’s good news afoot.

For one thing, you don’t have any delays to look forward to if you’re picking up a copy on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC. Aside from that, you could get a hefty discount off your purchase if you already own Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition on PC.

You could get Dark Souls Remastered for 50 percent off if you decide to buy on PC, which is surprising for a new release. Also, on May 8 at 4pm PT, the Steam version of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be delisted from Steam. If you already own the game and want to redownload it in the future, you’ll be able to do so as well as play it, but the previous version of the game will no longer be available.

Need to be swayed into picking up a copy or just want a better look at how Dark Souls Remastered will perform once it’s out in the wild? There’s a new trailer to soak up, with plenty of new gameplay footage that’ll take you back to the halcyon days of playing a few minutes, then dying, then playing a little more, then dying. You know, the little things. You never forget your first Dark Souls playthrough.

Dark Souls Remastered is targeting a May 25 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, though there has yet to be a new release date assigned for the Switch version. That should be coming in the near future.
