PlayStation Plus subscribers can download XCOM 2 on PlayStation 4 for free next month, the PlayStation Blog revealed.
PlayStation Plus’ free games lineup for June is here, and Firaxis’ hit tactical strategy title XCOM 2 features as one of six games that fans can pick up for their consoles through the PlayStation Store.
Every month, PlayStation Plus subscribers are given a handful of free games for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. As long as PlayStation Plus subscribers claim their free games before the month ends, they can keep them as long as they continue subscribing to the service.
This month features XCOM 2, which pits humanity against an alien invasion that’s occupied Earth and colonized mankind. The player serves as the commander behind a resistance movement, and players spend their time researching new technology, rescuing VIPs, sabotaging alien operations, and trying their best to fend off the alien invasion before humans are wiped off the planet.
Alongside XCOM 2, platformer motorcycle racing game Trials Fusion also features, letting players compete online against both their friends and strangers around the world. Listed below are all six games that PlayStation Plus subscribers can pick up in June, sorted by console.
PlayStation 4
- Trials Fusion
- XCOM 2
PlayStation 3
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
- Zombie Driver HD
PlayStation Vita
- Atomic Ninjas
- Squares
PlayStation Plus’ free June games are available throughout the upcoming month, after which they’ll be replaced with several new PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita freebies in July. In the meantime, May’s PlayStation Plus giveaway is still available until June starts, and that deal features Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends and Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls for free.
