This card is the latest community reveal. Players, streamers, and websites will be revealing cards between now and July 31.

Celestial Emissary is a two mana 2/1 Mage minion. It’s an Elemental, which is important for Frost Lich Jaina things in Mage. It doesn’t have a normal Spell Power buff, but it does buff the next spell’s damage by two.

That Spell Damage battlecry suggests this card might find a home in aggressive Burn Mage. That deck plays spells to try and deal damage as fast as possible and this kind of boost may well fit into that deck well.

The Boomsday Project is the second expansion of the current Standard year, the Year of the Raven. It will add 135 new cards to the game, including new keywords like Magnetic. It is currently available to pre-order, with all the cards becoming available on Aug. 7.
