With the expansion just around the corner, new cards are being unveiled every day—sometimes two at a time.

Cosmic Anomaly is a four mana 4/3 Mage minion. It’s an Elemental, and it has Spell Damage +2. Spell Damage plays a big part in the theme of the Mage cards revealed so far, including the bizarre Unexpected Results, so this card could well play into a deck where those cards are used.

Shooting Star is a one mana Mage spell. It deals one damage to a minion and the minions next to it. This is is a smaller Power Shot, a card that never really saw play. Maybe if there’s a Spell Power deck in the meta this will work, but otherwise it seems pretty ineffectual.

The Boomsday Project is the second expansion of the current Standard year, the Year of the Raven. It will add 135 new cards to the game, including new keywords like Magnetic. It is currently available to pre-order, with all the cards becoming available on Aug. 7.
