A limited edition version of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be released alongside the standard version’s launch in December.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s limited edition bundle will include a copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, a Nintendo GameCube controller, and a controller adapter. The announcement was made during Nintendo’s Wednesday morning Nintendo Direct, where the company surprised fans with a ton of announcements, including the addition of King K. Rool and Simon Belmont as new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fighters.

Pricing details for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate limited edition bundle were not released. The standard edition of the game is expected to cost $60, so Super Smash Bros. fans can expect to bundle to be priced upwards from there. It’s unclear at this time whether the limited edition bundle is limited to European Super Smash Bros. Ultimate fans, or if it’ll come stateside, too. A Nintendo of America spokesperson told Dot Esports that it had nothing to announce at this time.

Naturally, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s new characters will have amiibo of their own. Nintendo announced on Twitter that Simon Belmont, Richter Belmont, King K. Rool, Chrom, and Dark Samus will all get the amiibo treatment and be released “in the future.” Nintendo didn’t say how much these will cost, but pricing for amiibo figures typically fall in the $13 to $30 range.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be released on Nintendo Switch on Dec. 7. So far, Nintendo has announced 67 fighters and a whopping 103 stages, including a stage morph feature that swaps between two.
