Microsoft has been acquiring multiple studios lately and this doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon, according to rumors.

Insider Krobrille, who had revealed Playground Games acquisition before the official news broke at E3 2018, has shared some details about the possible future moves from the Xbox owner.

In a tweet, he mentioned that “Microsoft Studios growth isn’t done yet. They are in active talks with multiple studios.”

In particular, providing hints about the sizes of these studios, the insider claimed that those are going to be “both big and small.”

“Some of which might you surprise more than others. It’s early for all of them though. 2019 will continue this story.”

It’s worth mentioning that Krobrille has shared in the recent past a possible acquisition of Turtle Rock Studios and IO Interactive, so those could be part of the plan if these ‘leaks’ prove true.

It’ll be interesting where this renewed interest for gaming will lead Microsoft and Xbox at the dawn of the next generation, with games to be provided on top of studio acquisition announcements.
