This element will remind you about the Dark Souls series, and unlocks co-op in certain portions of the game where you have missions that are enabled for you to play with another user.
The Shared Single Play online element will let you occasionally see other hunters from around the world. At times those will be recorded, but mostly it’ll be gamers playing those sections live in front of you.
When this happens, you’ll see what other players do and vice versa, but you won’t be allowed to interfere with anything they’re doing.
As said, proper co-op gameplay is available throughout the game but only in select missions.
Matchmaking requires zero time to kick off a session, and when no one’s available to play with you the title uses data from previous play.
After playing with another person, you’ll have the option to “like” the player if you enjoyed your time together. The more likes you get, the more orbs for continues you obtain.
With that said, you can check the newest footage from a HYDE collaboration trailer that was just released on Capcom’s YouTube channel.
