Over the weekend, Kojima Productions has celebrated its third anniversary.

Three years have passed from Kojima‘s split from Konami, and he has celebrated the event on Twitter sharing impressions about those days.

Days when family and friends claimed the Japanese game designer and director should have left the industry and take some rest after the Silent Hills affair.

Death Stranding Gameplay Was Shown To God of War's Cory Barlog

This is what he had to say on the matter:

“I was already 52 when I decided to become independent.

I was told to get retired by my family and ppl around me but friends in the world who are devoting their lives for creatives said to me that “there’re ppl out there waiting for your work so keep creating for them.”

Among those “ppl” helping him to take the right decision, which we are grateful for, we can find Santa Monica Studio’s Cory Barlog.

The creative director of God of War congratulated for the milestone and, when asked about the matter, he revealed he was showcased a Death Stranding gameplay.

Death Stranding gameplay has not been revealed yet, so we’re very curious, as you are, to learn more about it from Barlog.

Unfortunately, he only said “yes” when asked about the gameplay, which is a confirm it exists but nothing more.

We don’t know when we’ll be as lucky as Barlog, since the game has skipped The Game Awards this month and Sony won’t be at E3 2019.
