Destiny 2 – Where is Xur for January 5, 2018?

Each Friday, Destiny 2 players ask themselves, “Where is Xur?” We have details on Xur’s location for January 5, 2018, as well as what exotic weapons and armor he’s bringing alone with him.

It’s Friday, which has everyone wondering, “Where is Xur?” The tentacle-faced vendor has arrived once again, and players are dying to know if he has anything good to sell them.

What is Xur selling?

Once again, Xur is selling three armor pieces, one for reach of the three classes in Destiny 2. Xur is also carrying the Three of Coins, as well as my personal favorite, the Fated Engram. You can find a complete list of what Xur is selling below, along with number of Legendary Shards you’ll need to snag each piece.

What Should You Buy?

Merciless is this week’s must-buy exotic! It’s important that each player own every exotic item in the game when it comes to weapons and armor. Therefore, we suggest that you purchase whatever items you might not have yet. Even if it’s not good or you don’t play the class, exotic items tend to see tweaks throughout the lifespan of Destiny 2, so grab it all now to prevent yourself from having to rush to get it at a later date. Players low on Legendary Shards will most likely want to start with the armor piece they don’t have if it relates to their main class. Move on to the weapon next if you don’t have that. This order can be switched, but for the most part you’ll start with whatever armor you’re missing.
