Sea of Thieves is a few days away from its release on March 20th. Today Rare has released its official gameplay launch trailer. It features a few clips showing off some of the most fun activities in the game, including a barely seen before kraken attack on a galleon. Looks pretty terrifying, if you ask me.

Gameplay Trailer

While we have to wait until next Tuesday to get back aboard with our mates and strike out for new adventures, we’ve had some time with the beta at various stages and put together a list of things we’d like to see in Sea of Thieves. Will we see some of those next week? Time will tell, but we’re hopeful. Even without any additions, the game looks to be a lot of fun, especially if you get fully engulfed in the game and speak like a proper sailor.

Sea of Thieves will be available for PC and Xbox One gamers on March 20th, and they will even be able to join each other, cross-play style. In order to prepare yourself and get off on the right peg leg, be sure to check out our comprehensive Sea of Thieves Guide Hub.
