Learn How to Hide in Plain Sight and What’s to Come in HITMAN 2

IO Interactive has some advice on how to stay hidden in HITMAN 2 and reveals its plans for December in the form of its Live Content Roadmap.

WB Games and IO Interactive have a bit of a conflicting message for fans of HITMAN 2 today. On the one hand, they’re treating us to a small guide on how to effectively hide in plain sight, while they’re also showing us their cards with the roadmap for the December Live Content plans.

How to Hide in Plain Sight

Without a doubt, staying hidden and inconspicuous in HITMAN 2 is key to your assassin’s success. One might argue that a one-minute long video is hardly a guide, but the short clip does show off a variety of different ways that Agent 47 can use his environment to blend in and stay hidden. It’s not all about sneaking around in the shadows, in HITMAN 2, would-be assassins can use their skills to remain hidden in plain sight by choosing from a large variety of outfits and disguises, and, of course, by assuming the roles and positions of NPCs.

December Live Content Roadmap

The HITMAN series has always done a great job of continually releasing fresh content, and that continues in HITMAN 2. We’ve already had our first elusive target in the form of Sean Bean, and there will be another one on December 21. In addition to that, here are some of the key content drops coming this month:

• New Featured Contracts: Occupational Hazards (Available Now) – All Featured Contracts are created by members of the community and then added to the game for all players to enjoy. For HITMAN 2, Featured Contracts will be chosen based on themes – and the first is ‘Occupational Hazards,’ as all contracts are focused on jobs, occupations, and professions.
• New Escalation Contract: The Aelwin Augment (Dec. 13) – Escalation Contracts focus on how players can adapt their skills and playstyles to the various complications that can be thrown Agent 47’s way. This new Escalation Contract takes place on the mysterious Isle of Sgàil, and it is sure to be a memorable visit.
• Holiday Surprise! (Dec. 18) – Stay tuned for a time-limited, holiday-themed surprise coming later this month.
• New Elusive Target: The Revolutionary (Dec. 21) – A new Elusive Target will arrive in Santa Fortuna for ten days, and you’ll be able to unlock the Casual Tourist with gloves suit if you manage to complete it. • New Escalation: The Turms Infatuation (Dec. 27) – The month will be wrapped up (pun intended) with an Escalation Contract in Santa Fortuna.
