According to references discovered by dataminers, Nintendo Switch Online is introducing SNES games very soon.

According to references discovered by dataminers, Nintendo Switch Online is introducing SNES games very soon.

At this stage, Nintendo Switch Online is offering free NES titles each month, but that’s it. SNES titles are not included yet.

Dataminers were able to work on a full list of all the games that should be released throughout the year, and those feature Contra 3, Super Mario World and more.

Here’s the full list of the games that have already been discovered:

• Super Soccer
• Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
• Demon’s Crest
• Yoshi’s Island
• Stunt Race FX
• Kirby’s Dream Course
• Pop’n Twinbee
• Star Fox
• Contra 3
• Kirby Super Star
• Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts
• Kirby’s Dream Land 3
• Super Metroid
• Super Mario World
• Pilotwings
• F-ZERO
• Star Fox 2
• Super Punch-Out!!
• The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
• Super Mario All-Stars
• Breath of Fire 2

Of course, take all these titles as part of a rumor and not of a confirmed list, since Nintendo has not shared any news about it yet.

In any case, fans are already cheering as this list includes all the SNES titles they’ve been wanting for a while and also hints at other legacy Nintendo platforms to be included in the service in the future.

I was finally able to look around NES Online’s strings a bit myself and noticed the sheer amount of SNES games planned.
