Sony had to reach another director for the Uncharted movie, and this time around 10 Cloverfield Lane helmer Dan Trachtenberg.
Here we go again with another Uncharted movie director news.
After Shawn Levy, the director of Stranger Things and Night at the Museum, abruptly left the project to join Ryan Reynolds’ Free Guy, Sony had to reach another director as you might remember.
And this time around 10 Cloverfield Lane helmer Dan Trachtenberg was chose as the director of the movie, as reported by Variety.
Even though a new director was appointed, it doesn’t mean production is starting anytime soon.
Reports claim that it won’t kick off until star Tom Holland won’t be free from the Spider-Man: Far from Home press tour.
Holland’s been the sole sure thing to happen to this movie, as he’ll be involved as a young Nathan Drake in an origin story.
Hopefully, things will get in motion as soon as this year and we’ll get to finally watch the movie at cinemas in a couple years.
