Nintendo announces next direct with hints of news for their upcoming releases.
Nintendo’s first Direct of 2019 will begin tomorrow from Feb. 13 at 5pm ET/10pm GMT.
The event will be full of upcoming Nintendo Switch games. Nintendo specifically teased news of Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which will be the first title from the series to land on the Nintendo Switch. We’re also expected to hear news of Animal Crossing, Luigi’s Mansion 3 and the next generation of Pokemon. There may also be a gameplay reveal for Joker in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
When Nintendo previously announced new directs, it said news would come for Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch. In the latest announcement, the Nintendo 3DS was not mentioned, which suggests that all development has been shifted to the fast-selling hybrid console.
Make sure to follow Gamepur closely during the event tomorrow. We’ll be posting breaking news from the Direct as it happens.
