Daily and Weekly Projects have been switched off in The Division 2 until developers Massive can solve an exploit problem.
Developers Massive have had to switch off Daily and Weekly Projects in The Division 2. After the discovery of an exploit that allowed people to repeatedly hand in the same Projects, earning more items than initially intended, Massive tried to solve the issue with a patch.
After taken down the servers and applying the emergency fix, it became apparent that the issue had not been resolved. As such, the decision was made to temporarily remove the Daily and Weekly projects until a fix could be found.
Correction: We’re currently unable to fix the issue with the server restart, therefore we’re disabling the daily and weekly projects for the time being. We will keep you updated in this thread:

The developers are keeping an active thread on the Ubisoft Forums for updates, but as of yet, nothing appears to have been fixed. Unfortunately, sometimes exploits and issues like this occur. The real shame is that The Division 2 is actually very generous with loot as it is. Part of this was down to the players ability to work on these Projects while they played, so hopefully, it is an issue that is resolved quickly.
We also don’t know if any progress on active projects was lost, and if it can be recovered if this happened. We will do our best to keep you up to date with any progress that Massive make on resolving this issue.
