Warner Bros. has announced that a two-floor pop-up experience inspired by the world of Pokémon Detective Pikachu will open in Covent Garden, London in early May. The pop-up opens to the public on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th May and is a short walk away from Covent Garden tube station in London.

The experience is designed to immerse fans in the world of the Pokémon Detective Pikachu movie. The ground floor will “offer numerous fun photo opportunities alongside bright yellow walls. As Detective Pikachu loves coffee to recharge and focus his sleuthing skills, fans can enjoy Detective Pikachu-printed coffee and hot chocolate drinks, yellow turmeric lattes or yellow bubble tea at the coffee bar.”

The basement will channel the spirit of the movie’s setting, the fictional Ryme City. Visitors will be able to “channel their inner Jigglypuff in interactive karaoke booths and visit nail art stands by WAH Nails for a look inspired by the vibrant colors of the film.”

There is also a host of other activities to take part in, including attending workshops on various themes and moments from the film, such as recharge Yoga, Detective Pikachu cupcake icing with Kim-Joy (@kimjoyskitchen), Psyduck inspired relaxation head and shoulder massages with My Beauty Squad (@mybeautysquad), and even Mr. Mime inspired miming classes.

All the workshops will be free, but they are ticketed events. Warner Bros advises you to keep an eye on their social media channels for more information on when you can apply for tickets.
