Frontier have announced that Planet Zoo will be launching on PC in the Fall. Are you ready to build the ultimate zoo?
Frontier, the developers behind Planet Coaster, Zoo Tycoon, and Jurassic World Evolution, has announced that Planet Zoo will be coming to PC in the Fall.
Frontier has stated that there will be less emphasis on looking after the visitors to the Zoo, and more emphasis on animal welfare. You will need to build detailed habitats that your various animals will feel comfortable in, as well as perform research to manage each species best and help it the thrive. You will also be able to breed new generations of animals that can be released into the wild.
The game uses a similar building system to the one from Planet Coaster, allowing for piece-by-piece construction that lets you effortlessly realize your ideas within the game. It will also be having full Steam Workshop support, allowing people to share designs and content with each other. Frontier also has previous experience with zoo simulators from their Zoo Tycoon games, and it will be interesting to see how this particular tycoon simulator plays out.
While an exact release date, or price point, is not known at this time, Frontier has said the game would be launching in the Fall, and we can more than likely expect similar price points to Planet Coaster and Jurassic Park Evolution. We will, of course, keep you updated as more information becomes available.
