Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night finally has a release date and a new trailer
The release date for the highly anticipated Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been announced via the game’s Kickstarter page. The announcement, accompanied by a new trailer showing fans the game’s updated visuals, confirmed that the game will release on Steam, GoG, PS4 and Xbox One on June 18, 2019, and for the Nintendo Switch on June 25, 2019.
One of the most highly funded games in Kickstarter history, the game has been developed by Koji Igarashi, who was responsible for the legendary Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and sequels that followed it. It is his first major release for almost eight years, and it is very much in the spirit of the PlayStation Classic.
An 8-bit, standalone game acting as a teaser for Ritual of the Night was launched last year, named Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon and it met with a warm reception. Players have been eager to try the new game since, and it now appears they won’t have to wait too long for it.
The Kickstarter update promised more information soon on what the game has to offer including full game content and how you can pre-order it.
